The 19th annual AIDS WALK Charlotte is the largest HIV awareness and fundraising event in the Carolinas and is a visual representation of our communities’ commitment and compassion for those impacted by HIV and AIDS.

On Saturday, May 2, brave individuals walk two miles through the heart of Uptown Charlotte in celebration of the past, present and an HIV free future.

The walk is approximately two miles long and takes the average person about 30 minutes. There is a morning program to kick-off and a brief closing ceremony will follow after the walk. Water is provided for free to all registered walkers.

AIDS WALK Charlotte is a family affair (kids and pets are welcomed) and welcomes all that want to participate.

All funds raised during this event stay in Charlotte and benefit RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network). RAIN engages the community to transform lives and promote respect and dignity for all people touched by HIV through compassionate care, education and leadership development.
